The SA-URG project was recently presented during the International Disaster Response Meetings in Toulouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official launch of SA-URG took place recently in Toulouse, within the framework of the International Disaster Response Meetings<\/a>. During the European Session dedicated to The Trans-Pyrenean organization and response SA-URG Project<\/em>, representatives of the project have presented the different aspects to be developed during the project and the challenges faced by the partners in promoting a cross-border approach in emergency health care among all the participating territories. They also insisted that SA-URG should serve as a lever to remove the barriers that prevent proper collaboration between teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SA-URG project aims to reinforce cross-border cooperation and strengthen emergency management capacities in the border territory in order to provide a more efficient and adapted response to the needs of the population of the cross-border territory. It also proposes the creation of a cross-border mobile health team and a training program for health personnel in the border territories, as well as the development of digital tools to support interventions in emergency situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should be noted that, unlike the EGALURG project, the SA-URG project covers all the territories of the border areas. Aragon joins the project as a partner and Euskadi and Andorra as associate partners. Collaboration between border territories is crucial to ensure an effective response to disasters and emergencies in the cross-border territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
